Where do the bailouts end? Banks, auto manufacturers, newspapers, State Governments, financial firms and other entities have either received a bailout or have been mentioned for a bailout. What used to be called an earmark is now called an economic stimulus package.

Government has thrown money around like they can just print more. Oh they do print the money, but what is it worth and whose pocket do they pick to spread the wealth around? Of course the good old taxpayer gets the shaft. Nothing like paying for votes which is essentially what the democrats are trying to do. Make people feel like they are getting something for nothing. "Those evil rich people do not pay enough in taxes. Let's take their money and give it to some poor people". Same for the greedy corporations and small businesses. Never mind that these companies make products which make out lives better or that they employ people or even give money to charity. Greedy unions will expect that their support for democrats will be rewarded with handouts - I mean stimulus packages. We have opened pandora's box and this cycle will not cease until the economy collapses.

We are all going to pay in the end. Our taxes will skyrocket, inflation will spiral out of control and over taxed companies that have to compete in foreign and domestic markets will fail. Do not even get me started on the fact that the domestic auto manufacturers are living on borrowed time. Their cars are shoddy and they do not make what consumers want. They prefer to push the big ticket vehicles that people cannot afford to buy, let alone fill with gas - because the price of gas will go up - again.

This massive debt load will be left to future generations. Social security will be bankrupt, medicare and medicaid will need ever more tax dollars.

We are in a heap of trouble and I am afraid that our government leaders either do not know it or do not care. Heck, they will be long gone before the bills come due.
